Intellectual Dialouge of Economics is one of the work programs at the Economic Faculty Student Association (HMJIE) of Faculty of Economics and Business Brawijaya University (FEB UB) that held every two years series of scientific writing contest, national seminar and field trip to be held in October
In general, the goal to be achieved through this activity is to increase the role of students and able to support an existence of HMJ-IE FEB UB . Improve and demonstrate student’s social sensitivity in critiquing the current state of affairs in Indonesia. While the specific objectives to be achieved through this activity are: Improving and developing the ability and attitude of IE students throughout Indonesia, especially those oriented to achievement and achievement of the maximum results, showing the existence, competence, appreciation and consistency of students as one of the motor of progress of Indonesia, to develop the creativity in order to advance the students ‘self potential, to build intellectual mindset for the benefit and moral improvement of the nation starting from the society in general and the students in particular, as a means for students to develop and distribute students’ talents in the field of scientific papers and facilities actualization of student role as government control and agent of change through written media.Intellectual Dialouge of Economics will be held in three days, namely on October 13, 2017 in the form of scientific paper contest presentation that will be held in the hall of F Building 7th floor FEB UB at 08.00 – 20.00 WIB, this event will be followed by 15 finalist who qualify in the selection stage. On October 14, 2017, a national seminar entitled “Implementation of Creative Economy of Village Community Facing Economic Inequality in Indonesia” will be held on October 14, 2017 which will be held in Widyaloka Building Brawijaya University at 08.00 – 15.00 WIB. On October 15, 2017 field trip will be held to provide refreshing to finalist of scientific writing contest, which will be held in Pujon Kidul village at 07.00 – 15.30 WIB
